Bean's Story
Bean came to us after his owner, Sheila passed away suddenly several summers ago. Many of you know Steve that works here at the Ranch - Steve helped the family get Bean to our Rescue. Bean's owner, Sheila, had visited the Ranch and loved the care and setting for rescue horses. So Steve knew this would be the perfect place for gentle Bean.
Bean was a trail horse in his younger days and was the pride and joy of Sheila. He has settled in very nicely here at the Ranch. He was a little unsure of his surroundings his first couple of days and missed Sheila. He is doing great now and has found two friends that he loves to hang out with! He and Sundance (who lost two of his older friends earlier this year) and Buddy (who arrived recently after his owner passed away). These three old gentlemen have created a very nice friendship and can be seen spending their afternoons together on pasture. Bean is a very gentle and kind horse and we are so happy to have him here!!
