BUCK’S STORY
A Bond Built on Years of Love
Buck and Wishbone have a story that deserves to be told.
These two gentle geldings first came to us many years ago. Eventually, they found a wonderful adopter and spent a long, happy chapter of their lives together in a loving home. Recently, life circumstances changed for their adopter, and with a heavy heart she returned them to us as she prepared for a move where she could no longer keep them.
Through all these years, one thing has remained constant: their devotion to one another.
Buck and Wishbone are the very definition of sweet, steady souls. They greet you with kindness, follow you with trust, and melt into affection the moment you offer it. They’re not riding horses — and they don’t want to be. What they do want is a person who enjoys quiet moments, gentle companionship, and the simple joy of being around two truly good-hearted horses.
Because of their strong bond, they will only be adopted together.
Buck is in good health and aging gracefully; Wishbone matches his gentle energy and remains just as loving.
