Thank you Marti Campbell for Sponsoring Charity! (2/13/23)
Birth Date: 8/27/2014
Charity was born here at the Ranch on Aug. 27th of 2014. Her mother, Hope, one of two pregnant Mustang mares that were saved from a slaughter truck, came to our Rescue & Hope gave birth to a strong and healthy filly, Charity.
Charity immediately captured the hearts of everyone with her spitfire personality and fear of nothing. A naming contest was held, via Facebook, for this little Mustang filly and she was dubbed Charity.
Charity, by definition, means “the voluntary giving of help to those in need” and it was because of the charity of so many kind-hearted people that this little filly was able to come into the world. She is truly a symbol of what animal rescue stands for.
Charity is a testament to the kind of environment we seek to foster here at End of the Trail Rescue, Inc. She has never known the abuse, neglect, and/or cruelty that brings so many of our residents to us. This mare is cared for and trained by loving staff and volunteers who make every interaction she has with people a positive one. This has rewarded us with a loving, confident, and curious mare. She is afraid of nothing or anyone – she loves everyone she meets.
Charity is a joy to handle & ride and has great ground manners. Charity is not very large but is well built and sure footed, as is typical of Mustangs.
