Classy’s Story
End of the Trail Horse Rescue offers homes to abused, abandoned and neglected horses of all ages. We give rescue horses a second chance.
Classy is a registered paint mare but is solid in color. Before coming to us, she was a trail horse but due to sensitive feet was retired for lighter work.
We have since discovered she has ring bone in both front fetlocks. She has a chronic limp and cannot be ridden but works well in our Mental Health Therapies, as she is very affectionate and will follow clients all over the arena. This same behavior can become a bit of a bother when she insists on pets and scratches while we are trying to clean her pen!
