Felix’s Story
End of the Trail Horse Rescue offers homes to abused, abandoned and neglected horses of all ages. We give rescue horses a second chance.
Felix is our beloved miniature paint gelding, easily recognized by his striking flaxen mane and tail—and even more so by his bright, curious spirit. This little guy has a gift for making people smile. Gentle, friendly, and endlessly inquisitive, Felix loves spending his days on pasture with his Mini buddies, where they can often be seen racing, playing, and enjoying life to its fullest.
Because he’s so irresistibly charming, visitors naturally gravitate to his pen for a quick hello (and Felix is always happy to oblige). He also travels with us to events, meeting new friends and spreading his quiet joy wherever he goes.
Felix came to us from the CSU research center and now plays an important role in our Mental Health Programs. His calm presence and sweet disposition make him a comforting partner for those who need it most. He will remain a cherished member of our family for the rest of his life.
Felix isn’t just part of our team—he’s part of our hearts.
