Duke’s Story
End of the Trail Horse Rescue offers homes to abused, abandoned and neglected horses of all ages. We give rescue horses a second chance.
Duke was born in South Dakota and was in a herd that was starving. He came to the Ranch in 2018 and has grown up with us and has been handled from a young age. He is very friendly with people and sometimes oversteps personal space.
We have been in the process of training this sweet Mustang and he has been halter, lead and saddle trained. He is a very handsome boy, wants to learn and would be great for an experienced rider. Duke loves to hang out with his buddy Cash, another of our Mustangs that came from the same herd in South Dakota.
Duke’s training is on-going and he is doing fabulous. He loves to learn and is a pleasure to work with!
