This Missouri Fox Trotter is a very well trained horse and came to us as an Owner Surrender. We continue to have this sweet boy evaluated by veterinarians - we were told by his former owner that he has navicular.
Skeeter has arthritis in his front legs and would need to go to a very low key home. We want the perfect home for Skeeter, in order for him to be adopted we have to consider the issues in his front legs.
Skeeter is a very curious horse and has adjusted well here at the Ranch. He has made friends with one of our Minis, Chuck. They can be seen playing & enjoying each other during pasture time.
Hi Lily - Thank you for your interest in Skeeter. He is a handsome gelding! Skeeter has really bad arthritis and possibly Navicular - he is ride able on flat terrain, no mountain riding. If you would like to make an appointment to come and meet Skeeter, please give Valentina, our Assistant Director a call at (970) 901-0502. Thank you for your interest -
