Meet Pumpkin — Our Gentle, Joy-Filled Partner
Pumpkin is a beautiful red dun Quarter Horse who came to our program as a donation after being diagnosed with navicular disease. From the moment he arrived, it was clear he was something special. Pumpkin has always been one of our “go-to” horses for new and young clients because trusting him feels effortless. His calm presence, steady spirit, and soft eyes make even the most hesitant riders feel safe.
Pumpkin absolutely loves working with children, and he shines in our Equine-Assisted Therapy programs. He’s curious, playful, and full of personality. Whether he’s nudging a toy, exploring an obstacle, or gently encouraging a client to take the next step, Pumpkin brings joy and confidence wherever he goes.
Today, Pumpkin is a cherished permanent resident of our farm. Although he can no longer be ridden, he continues to change lives every day—with his patience, his kindness, and his remarkable ability to make everyone around him feel brave.
Pumpkin is more than part of our herd—he’s part of our heart.
