A Gentle Soul Looking for His Perfect Home
Skeeter, our handsome Missouri Fox Trotter, came to us through an owner surrender, and from the moment he arrived, he has filled the Ranch with quiet sweetness. He is exceptionally well-trained, endlessly curious, and has a heart big enough to make friends with anyone — including his best buddy, Chuck the Mini, who rarely leaves his side during pasture time.
We’re working closely with veterinarians to fully understand Skeeter’s needs. His previous owner shared that he has navicular, and our evaluations confirm arthritis in his front legs. Because of this, Skeeter isn’t suited for heavy riding or high-activity work. What he is looking for is a peaceful, loving home where he can enjoy life at a slower pace, surrounded by gentle people who appreciate his soft nature.
Skeeter has adjusted beautifully here at the Ranch, taking each new day with patience and curiosity. He deserves a family who will cherish him just as much as we do — someone who sees not just his limitations, but his incredible capacity for companionship and love.
If you believe you can give this sweet boy the calm, caring home he deserves, we would love to talk with you. Skeeter is ready to meet his forever family — and to bring joy to the hearts lucky enough to welcome him home.
