Every once in a while, a horse comes along who carries both grace and grit in equal measure. Sea Me Sparkle, a 2013 off-track Thoroughbred filly, is one of those rare gems.

Sparkle arrived to us with a bowed tendon—an injury that might have dimmed the spirit of a lesser horse. But not this girl. With patience, care, and time, she healed beautifully. Today, her spirit shines brighter than ever.

Each morning when we let her out to graze, Sparkle reminds us what joy looks like in motion. She stretches out with that unmistakable Thoroughbred power, kicking up her heels with pure delight. Watching her run, you’d never guess how far she’s come. She feels good, she feels strong, and she loves to show it.

On the ground, Sparkle is a sweetheart—polite, attentive, and easy to handle. She stands quietly, picks up her feet without fuss, and enjoys being around her people. Under saddle, she’s a pleasure to ride. Calm, willing, and steady, Sparkle is best suited for light trail riding and companionship. She’s not a performance horse anymore—but she is absolutely a heart horse waiting to happen.
