Bodell is one of the most beloved permanent residents at End of the Trail Rescue, Inc., and it’s easy to see why. Standing just over 16 hands, this absolutely stunning gelding has a presence that turns heads — but it’s his heart that truly makes him shine.
From the moment you meet him, Bodell’s gentle spirit is unmistakable. He loves being around people and has a soft, comforting energy that draws everyone in. Whether he’s quietly keeping someone company or leaning in for a friendly nuzzle, he has a special way of making every person feel seen and cared for.
Bodell gets along beautifully with most of our herd and brings a sense of calm wherever he goes. Many of our volunteers enjoy riding him, and he proudly serves as one of our therapy horses — offering support, confidence, and healing to those who need it most.
He may call our rescue his permanent home, but every day Bodell gives back in ways we could never measure. We are so grateful for this incredible horse and the joy he brings to our community.
